Silk stoles for celebrants, ordinands, ministers and clergy

Weaving together vibrant colours with beautiful simplicity I create silk stoles for ordination and  ceremonial occasions. I hold a small stock of ordination stoles, clergy stoles and general ceremonial stoles, I also make bespoke stoles working with the client to produce something unique reflecting their own special requirement.  For the stock stoles please look under ‘Gallery’ and photos of previously made bespoke stoles can be found on the ‘Bespoke Stoles’ page.

I like to juxtapose colours and textures and at present use screen printing, machine embroidery and applique in my designs,  I am also exploring the use of natural dyeing.  Stoles can be reversible with a plain colour one side and a design on the other giving them a dual purpose.

I am passionate about textiles and love the beauty and touch of silk but I’m happy to accommodate client’s requirements and explore ideas.
